If you look at this website Link you'll see that Microdrives are way down the list on write performance for digital cameras. The question is, how much would you notice this when trying to capture action sequences?

didnt you answer your own question..the microdrives suck battery life from what I hear

He meant that you can use them in other devices besides cameras. He has one in a PDA of his.

Been using one in my Canon S1 since the start - when I had to remove it from a Muvo to get it. Works great for me. Good battery life & fast enough...

I've read over at Aximsite that some of the Seagate drives won't work in an AximX50V, so that's something to keep in mind if you're looking for one for a pocket pc. Link
