Check out this page from 7/3/99, scroll down to the Hitachi CM812U SUPERSCAN 812 21IN 20VIS .22MM 16X12 85HZ, it was listed at $8,695!!!

<< Thank you for your feedback. I am the Sales Manager of Team Excess and I would like to clear a lot of false information up.

1. 10:00 am and 3:00 pm is break time. We are ar ewarehouse, not a retail store front.
2. All Grade B monitors have casing defects. There will never be damage to the glass. Grade B is only 30-day warranty.
3. Resellerratings.com rates us by customer feedback at a 6.4/7.0 rating so there is nothing to worry about when dealing with our company.
4. Some of the links in this thread are bad because they have cart ID's in them. You should go to www.teamexcess.com and look around.

i have a 19" hitachi cm751. it's like 5 yrs old but still kicks ass...although the curve screen is starting to annoy me someone since i'm getting used to the flat crt of my monitor @ work.

I too have a Hitachi 751 (actually, it's a RasterOps Mc 7515, but that's just the "Mac" version of the 751. No, I don't have a Mac, it just comes with a mac converter thing). It's fantastic, the .22mm dot pitch is incredible. If you don't like aperture grille monitors, then this is for you.

I bought the same moniter from teamexcess a month or so ago, it works fine, but I don't believe it does 85hz at 1600x1200...

I have made purchases from this place before. Never had any trouble. Good deal if you are in the market for big cheap monitors
