It looks like DOS might not run on these, so you would probably have to setup your CMOS with a regular monitor if you wanted to alter your settings...

Don't get these, I got one similar two years ago and they can't run anything other than a few resolutions between 1024x768 and 1600x1200. Sounds like no problem, just you can't play any games, also if for some reason you NEED to boot in to dos you're screwed, you can't run any dos programs, etc. After a while it's too much trouble, do yourself a favor and just get a good 19" samsung for around 150-200.

this would be an awesome second monitor for ppl with dualhead video cards... its cheap and you could get a dualhead gf2 mx for cheap too... not a bad combination possibly

this is great for a workstation or something, but as a person's general purpose computer, you may have some problems (not multisync).

As someone said, if you want to go dual-monitor, this is definitely a great way to go. I use a 21" Sun monitor as my primary monitor. I don't play many games but many games allow you to force them to use the desktop resolution, and for other games I just play them on my smaller multisync monitor.
It's great for DVD and TV!

Feh. The only decent refresh rates are at and below 1024x768, which is, shall I say, less than ideal for a monitor of this size. Two thumbs down.

those refresh rates do suck. At a bare minimum you need 1600x1200 at 75Hz, anything lower and you are asking for a headache. 85Hz would be real good

Shipping sounds right. These are heavy f--kers. But the price sounds high. No-mutlisync montiors are cheaper than this. I got one for free. HP something or other, great picture, but requires a special video card for fixed freq.
