just got this in my email and bought one. I was going to buy the 500gb for the same price until i saw this 1TB hard drive...lol
 
I'd like to see what made you think this drive is slow? All of the 7200rpm 500gb platter drives perform similarly from what I've seen.

i'd like to see some more hard drive reviews. storagereview doesn't test just about every drive anymore, silentpcreview doesn't have much, the front page here has never been very big on reviewing hard drives.

i guess in the age of SSDs some rotating pieces of glass covered in rust are just uninteresting.
