i am using an antec tru 550 and it gives these kind of voltages? i can't even get over 225 fsb or the mobo just will not post.... in MSI Core center it shows that voltage as flashing red, also my 5V rail is at 4.60 and my 12V rail at 11.60..... i am using 3000+ winchester at bone stock, i have been through two processors and two motherboards now so i have no idea what to do next... i have another turbolink 420W switching powersupply that seemed to give better voltages than this antec... what should i do? i think all these problems i have been having are power related because i have gone through so many components.

*****UPDATE******

ok, now that the power supply issue is over i seem to have hit a 240fsb wall on my mobo, even at 230fsb it fails prime95 very quickly........ i am using kingston pc3500 hyperX memory and running at 3:2 ratio meaning the memory is not even getting stressed at about 188 mhz, its timings are set to 2.5 4 4 10 just to knock that out of the picture... i just need some advice on how to get passed this shit. i have spread spectrum disabled and also coolnquiet disabled and HT at 4X where it should be.... agp is set to 67 to lock it at that point and my 74 gig raptor is on sata channel 3.

well, i have a truepower 430w, and my voltages are pretty similar to yours. this is within the 3% acceptable margin (or so a site said, too lazy to do math). i havent had any trouble with my setup though, been rock solid. try other settings.

you don't understand, saying "trying other settings" i have tried every setting and swapped every component twice. nothing helps anything, i have tried two of everything. the only thing i see that could be a problem is the voltages? and you said 3% margin? on the 3.3V rail thats a 12.12% difference? shitloads more than 3%

Let's do the math. 3.3 is low by about 11%, 5 is low by 8%, and 12 is about 4% low, which is OK, give or take (doing this in my head...I'd better have it right).I suspect your readings are wrong, or else you do have a voltage problem.

oh, told u i didnt do the math...lol
hmm that is pretty crappy ill give u my voltages right now (idle):
+3.3=3.25v
+5=4.92v
12=11.84v
im going to email antec about this.

The K8N Neo2 does a lot of weird undervolting, make sure your try a few different vcore/overvid combinations before you blame it on your PSU.

i emailed antec, lets see what they say. lol mrvile, your pissed cuz u cant to 2.7 on air, i cant make it past 2.43 🙁
oh well, i just have to remind myself i have a top of the line computer basicly 😀

lol I was having fun with my CPU. Have you tried using a high overvid at like 1.4? Try like 1.425v with a 10% overvid.

i can't OC at all, im reading voltages from the bios and from the hardware monitor msi provides and they are the same... crappy as hell.......and i still can't figure out the problem, i let prime 95 run overnight at stock settings and there were no errors for 10 hours so thats fine i guess. although now my memory bandwidth is only at 74% efficieny now for some dumbass reason, even on my last mobo cpu it was around 5300 where it should have been

Update MSI Core Center to the latest version first! I was getting some really messed up undervolting with the version on the CD. All was well after downloading the newest version.

NO!!!! it was the voltages!!! im soooooo happy now. i got rid of that TRASH antec tru 550, tru 550 my ass! i went to compusa and bought that maddog modular 500W rebadged superflower and OMG JESUS its sooooo nice. perfect SOLID RAILS. i would recommend to anyone, it is 79.99 - 30 rebate and destroys that overpriced antec trash! finally i have a decent PSU and i am so happy now. OC'ing here i come.

you really think so? i tuned the ram down with a 133 divider and still it was a no go at around there. but that really is the only thing left in question now isn't it?

mrvile nice rig, how did you get 1000mb of ram, whats that like a 512, 256, and wait... its impossible... 1024... come on people powers of 2!

I know this is a pain but i have the same problem, i dont have another cpu to test my ultra x connect 500 in but I AM ALMOST POSITIVE its the program.. trust me.. i have 4 other programs besides mbm5 and they all are completely stable.. i look on mbm and they are all wacked out.. odd because mbm is only one that shows my temps correctly lol
