History of the NSync, BSB, and 98 Degrees to prove you all wrong :)

Ok, I know you guys love to bash the boy bands, and the most popular argument is they are "manufactured". Well, I thought I'd clear things up for all of you. Here's how they all started:

NSync:
Chris meant Joey while working in Universal Studios.
JC and Justin knew each other from the Mickey Mouse Club
Justin knew Chris from Auditions.
JC and Joey had been friends since high school.
Chris wanted to start a group, he contacted Justin, who contacted JC, who contacted Joey.
They needed a bass, so Justin asked his vocal coach to help him find one. They found Lance.
NSync was born.

BSB:
Howie and AJ met at latin vocal competitions(AJ won them usually)
They were also friends with Nick.
Brian and Kevin were cousins.
A friend of AJ's introduced them to Kevin.
Kevin inlisted Brian.
BSB was born.

98 Degrees:
Drew and Nick are brothers.
Jeff knew Nick through the School for Creative and Performing Arts
Nick brought along his friend, Justin.
Nick brought along his brother.
98 Degrees was born.


There. They aren't manufactured. I told you so!

They aren't manufactured....they made the groups on their own. They were picked up by labels afterwards. You want a manufactured boy band, look at LFO. Don't get me wrong, I liked their songs, but they were purly manufactured, and they are nowhere now.

Goldenbear, 98 Degrees does write their own music. So does NSync. So does BSB.

And wasn't it N'sync who claimed that they never lipsync at shows? I saw them a few years ago, and it was horribly obvious that it was a recording and not them singing.

Saying &quot;baby&quot; 30 times in a song does not qualify it as good music.

I believe they wouldn't be bad mouthed as much if they at least played musical instruments. But jeez they can't even do that. Their singing isn't all that great and their dancing is just lame. Give me Kid Rock any day of the week. He can play every single instrument in his band.

I used to listen to N'sync and BSB. I can't believe I ever did.
Now I realize how they do suck and don't have a whole ton of musical talent. Just like the New Kids on the Block or other Teen bands they'll be gone in a couple of years, compared to good musicians who can be around for decades.
