I have Win XP SP1 and IE 6 SP1. I browse many sites, far to many to store in favorites so I am very dependant on my history. But lately it deletes itself. I believe it has happened twice in the past couple of days and I don't know why. I belive there is a setting to clear the history with win disk cleenup or some IE setting but I don't remember where and am too upset about loosing my history to look it up. I store 90 days in history and it maybee one of my most important parts of my computer. I was wondering if there is a way to backup and restore the history. It was easy with old IE versions but now they have a specialy encoded history in the folder so just copying it does not work.

All the stored passwords for the sites seem to have been deleted as well. What could be causing this?
My mistake, only the cokies for logon and autologon are gone, windows stored password still exist.
