That is a pretty good deal. The "free" HDMI adaptor incurs a $5 shipping charge. You just can't get any better performance for $60.

I absolutely agree. I just might pull the trigger on this one.

Almost nabbed this for my to-be HTPC but then I noticed in a review that mentioned there are no sinks on the card's RAM chips ...

I guess I was one of the lucky ones that got in on this deal before it went OOS again. For me, the lack of heatsinks on the RAM chips was not a dealbreaker at this price (AR).

shouldn't even need them unless you're planning to overclock the ram...not that you'd need to seeing as how the GPU certainly shouldn't be starved for memory bandwidth...then there's the fact that after market GPU ramsinks are going to cost you $10 max if you really want that peace of mind...

The X1800 is probably considerably better, so I wouldn't go for this if I were you.

ahhh... next stop for u is a 3870 or 8800... my 1800xt 512 (with a nice oc) is still competetive below that... although, unlike yours, my fan sounds like a jet taking off when turned up... it blows air like crazy, though...
