His gray hair means he's doing a good job

Has she gone full retard or is she just this stupid? I'm thinking a little bit of both. Have another cheeseburger, fries and a shake michelle. It's interesting to see the repackaging of his campaign - "I just need more time and then the change can happen!" Look at my gray hair! I'm not resting, make no mistake!

On the president’s 50th birthday, First Lady Michelle Obama says her husband’s ever graying hair is “proof” he’s handled the job well, and deserves re-election in 2012.

Actually, it means they told him about the Stargate and he's been quietly shitting bricks ever since.

At least he can pronounce Nuclear correctly 😉

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man."

Wow. Either Bill Cosby wasn't mainstream, or Biden doesn't think Cosby was nice-looking.

That said, Cosby wasn't the first mainstream, articulate, bright, clean, nice-looking African-American, either.

This is why first ladies need to be seen and not heard.

Having said that: I have no doubt in my mind thats the most stressful job in the entire world. Only one in a million could handle it and only one in a hundred million could do a decent job.

And that one in a hundred million hasn't been seen in office in a long time.

This hair things is obviously a stunt. Obama had zero grays in campaign 08 (even conservative radio talkers were calling Obama just a kid despite fact he was close to 50 ). Then last year he showed some gray. Then he went all black again. Now he's having his head dusted with chalk or something.

The Obama cadre is obviously trying to ape the episode with George Washington. After the war military leaders were unhappy with Congress and talked of a coup. When Washington addressed his military leaders in Newburgh NY he went to read them a letter and for the first time he used glasses in public. He said:

"Gentlemen, will you permit me to put on my spectacles, for I have not only grown gray but almost blind in service to my country."

With that, members of the audience began to cry in appreciation of Washington and what he had done. The moment is credited with averting a disaster. Obama is trying to stunt his way to sympathy.

lol.

:hmm:
what's Biden been up to, lately?

I miss that guy.

What a horribly written article. This article is proof that the myth of the liberal media is just that, liberals tell the truth. The person who wrote the article insinuated something that wasn't there to make the First Lady sound pretentious. Michelle's actual quote

“Every day, I see Barack make choices he knows will affect every American family,” Mrs. Obama said in an email blast to supporters. “That's no small task for anyone -- and more proof that he's earning every last one of those gray hairs.”

She's saying that he's working his ass off. That's all the quote says, that he spends a lot of time doing this job, works his ass off, and cares about how what he does affects the American people. I'd age too if I were fighting a war against fanatical zealots hell bent on destroying this country ... the Tea Party.

his grey hair is not a sign he is doing well. it is a sign he is getting old.

He has to. Golf balls don't hit themselves, you know.

All snarkiness aside, while I agree with comparatively little Obama does (and none of your borderline insane depictions of the right), being President is probably literally the hardest job in the world, especially at the moment. It definitely ages you. Assuming that the gray hairs are real - not necessarily a safe assumption - he certainly did earn them. If they aren't real, I'm sure he's still suffering the stress. I had a fair amount of gray at his age, with nothing like the stress.

Part of me wants Biden to run in 2016. Although my political views have diverged from the Republicans (its been a long time since McCain 2000), I would support Biden just for the lulz. He's a goldmine for comedy.

I always thought gray hair was a sign of stress or aging... who would have known it was the sign of someone getting shit done? Makes me wonder how much someone like Leslie Neilsen worked.
