Hires Root Beer, almost extinct

I don't know. I had some a couple years ago, but it tasted about as I remembered.

Grab a Reed's Strongest if you can. I think it's around 38 grams of ginger per bottle? Reminds me of this Jamaican stuff I used to see in The Keys, only it's better flavored and sweeter. Not for the faint of sinus, though I think at that potency the wake up effect rivals caffeine.

That's the thing---it's not a great root beer, but it's a fantastic mixer. I made a modded Old Fashioned using this instead of simple syrup and bitters, and it's been my go-to drink for the last couple of weeks 😀

Its Kosher Jewish Orthodox, not sure why but this stuff is like Kool Aide to me, its amazing.

I have one in the fridge right now, but can't drink it since I can't replace it. I mailed Virgil's asking and they didn't seem to respond.

I used to get one every year for my birthday. No luck this year due to stock & COVID 🙁

I think Boylans is the best I've tried, and I've tried a lot.

Got a bottle of this yesterday, and just drank it. A+. I won't go so far as saying it's the best. I don't drink soda much anymore, and rootbeer even less, but definitely better than the mass market brands. I'd buy it again.

my drink of choice is a good dark rum like Mount Gay Extra Old. For vodka I like Belvedere. I am not big on gin. I am not a whiskey person.

I do like a decent beer like Sleeman Original Draught.
