Is it legal to use all the software on Hiren's boot cd? In other words, is there any software on it that requires a legal license?
 
Theoretically? You can use it all.

Practically? No.

You would need a license for, among other things:
Partition Magic 8
Acronis Disk Director Suite 9
Norton Ghost
Acronis True Image

Those utilities alone would run you about $240. And that's just the names that popped out at me in the first ten lines or so.

Short Anwser: It's illegal as heck.
