I just popped the one I had my beer fridge open, brewed in 2006. I guess it should be fine though since it says on the back that it is suitable for cellaring (although cellaring at 50-60 degrees as recommended is the not the same as being in a fridge for that long).

Hopefully I won't get sick off of it, it's tastes pretty good so far.

If you guys read the label, it says serve at 50 F I believe so many of you are correct, it should not be served at your standard fridge temp of 37 F.

And it is a Belgian Quad, not some shitty "hipster" beer.

My personal favorite quad is Rochefort 10, try that sometime.... A little pricey at $7.99 for a 12oz bottle though......

My label doesn't say a serving temp, just a cellaring temp, and to pour it slowly and at an angle to not mix up the yeast sediment at the bottom. I am going to wait till it warms up to drink the rest based on the comments in this thread. Even cold it tasted pretty smooth, hard to believe it's 9.8%.

Yeah, this was a really good beer.

I might check out Rochefort, I think I'm quickly becoming a belgian beer fan, I received another bottle as a gift for xmas this year, I don't remember the name, but still have the box it came in. It was also amazing. I wonder if it was a quad also.
