Ever heard of ancient Chinese women wrapping their feet their entire life to keep their feet small because smaller feet were considered attractive? Take those wrappings off and the pain was so great that it often crippled them - when their culture stopped wrapping feet.

Ever heard of ancient Chinese women wrapping their feet their entire life to keep their feet small because smaller feet were considered attractive? Take those wrappings off and the pain was so great that it often crippled them - when their culture stopped wrapping feet.

blech...i forget what TV show i saw that on, but it was gross. If i remember, she practically curled them all the way up...and it was so fragile that walking on it would physically shatter the bone.

I remember being in Jr. High when all the really tight jeans where in style. (Early 90s) Girls were complaining of back problems it was related to tight jeans. Sounds similiar.
