Of course he's not racist. But people call him racist anyway when he chooses not to associate himself with a certain type of lifestyle that can easily be stereotyped to a specific race.

What is the point of making hip hop condoms? If people are too stupid to know that if you have unprotected sex, which may result in either, pregnancy or the transferring of STD's, what makes people think that using a hip hop condom will knock any sense into people? This is all common sense isn't it?

It's called "marketing." It's also marketing to people who are stupid enough to think that you're not as cool if you use Trojan instead of the HipHop condoms.

Since you are obviously not having much sex or at least outside a commited relationship, let's explain to you.

fallacy 1: Young 'kids' think STD's only happen to older people, if she's on the pill she's good to go.

fallacy 2: People think STD's only happen to poor people, if she's on the pill she's good to go.

fallacy 3: Only minorities and drug users get STD's, if she's never been with a 'whatever' man and if she's on the pill she's good to go.

fallacy 4: Only people with a TON of partners get STD's, if she's on the pill she's good to go.

etc....

They interviewed people on a few colleges campuses only about 1/3 or so of those sexually active were using condoms every time, plus almost 100% practiced oral sex without a barrier.

Those that usually cry out about who wouldn't use a condom, or that you ALWAYS have one around aren't having as much sex as they think they are, compared with others.

So it's sort of important to make it 'COOL' to carry a condom, whether you are a woman or a man or just a kid having sex.

no it has to do with people not wanting to buy condoms....it's amazing the things people do alone, but are to afraid to buy 'rubbers'

I never saw the problem, a couple of times I used to tease the girls at the register about the sheepskins (I didn't use them, but they made for a fun skit) and whether the 'wool' is still on them....(these were girls maybe a couple years younger than me as I was just 18 or so).

One time I got called behind the pharmacy counter for a half serious lecture by an old pharmacist (who was a wiseguy himself after the girl asked him about the wool deal )....he mentioned I was one less guy to fear 'knocking up' one of his girls....I asked him to put a good word in for me and he told me it'd be a knuckle sandwich next time (or something like that)....

feeling a little sheepish....
