My friend was telling me how good hindu pushups are and how they give you strength. Since I'm not knowledgable enough on this subject, I thought someone here might know a bit more.

So are hindu pushups better than your normal pushups?

Some people certainly think so. I am one of them, based on how much more tired you are after doing them versus conventional pushups.

Hindu pushups? lol, thats like saying Christian Pushups or Jewish Pushups..Indian pushups is prob the word you are looking for.

Anyways, they are kinda weird...like humping the floor or something

I know, I tried to tell my friend that they should be called Indian pushups, but he insisted. Saying how that is how you describe them.

Better? Hard to say. A good exercise? Definitly. I'd do them in addition to normal push-ups rather than replacing them.
