Aside from the obvious. I'm sure Harbour Town is very nice but $200+ for 18 holes is just stupid. I'm looking more in the $50-$70 range.

I liked Old South for the price. Since it was not on the island it was a great deal. Harbor Town was so technical that it was not enjoyable for my skill level. I have played Shipyards many times (mother has a timeshare) and it was a comfortable game. Additionally, Shipyards is a 27 hole course so you will get a random 18 to play (sometimes they had deals where you would play the extra 9 at limited/no cost). I don't remember the Dunes as I only played it twice. But it seemed like it was more challenging than Shipyards.

This was 10+ years ago.

Check Golfnow.com. If you go away from the beach, they get cheaper. I forgot the name, but we were able to play a very nice course for about $35.

Harbour Town! Wow that brings back memories. I must have played that course a thousand times....In Links 386!

I still play Links386 thanks to DosBOX!

It's the only PC game my dad would ever play with me when I was a kid, we had a lot of fun times with that!
