Full service gas means we pay $.10/gallon more at the pump than those across the Columbia.
Actually... The 6% difference in gasoline tax (between OR and WA) is the reason for the extra ~$.10/gallon.
I was going to mention this also.

It has to account for a few cents though. The money to pay workers has to come from somewhere, unless it's just skimmed off the top as a necessity...

Oh, and by the way.. I like Pace Computers, too. I've bought quite a few things from them. When I lived in Hillsboro, Heidens and Pace were the two stores I shopped at.

They competed the most for pricing in the Computer Bits, it seemed...

I bet Pace's business went up quite a bit when Heidens went under... Damn those bad, unforseeable business decisions.

Actually, Heidens went under due to one of their suppliers (and thus one of their largest lines of credit) going under.

Their supplier wanted payment in full, they didn't have it, they went bankrupt.

I bought my car from a former Heidens employee, that was his version.

Ahhh, that is interesting. That really sucks though. That's even worse than the computer industry downturn killing them, really.

It's not just them though. Hillsboro Silicon Forest went down like a wild fire so it seems.
