Is it a requirement that you do meth in order to be a hillary supporter?

shock, hows that for an explanation? 50% of the dems are apparently meth addicts

I feel the same way about Bush lovers too, really not too much difference, you folks were made for each other.

UPDATE: 75% of the country are meth addicts. This doesn't help battle the elitist image you know.

Leave it to a Hillary lover to fudge some numbers... get off the meth ;)

I'm guessing he was referring to this:

You don't understand anything. Roughly half of the people that are supprting Clinton aren't supporting her just because they really like her. We're supprting her because, for one reason or another, we really dislike Obama. We're disgusted with what the Democrat party is trying to do. Like the voters that turn out in the GE, most are centrist Dems and independants. We don't want gimmick politics and we don't want extreme left or extreme right agendas shoved down our throats. We'll vote for the candidate that has the most proven record of working close to the center, whether he is Dem or Republican. If McCain stops pandering to the far right of his base and comes back to the center, where he usually is, he'll smoke Obama's ass plain and simple.

First he makes an assumption based on his opinion. Then he states he (and 1/2 of Hillary supporters) hate Obama but doesn't explain why. Then he accuses the (D) party is to blame for Hillary's failure. Then he feigns sickness with 'gimmick politics' which is what Hillary's been doing for months. Then he tries to paint Obama as far left of Clinton when their stance on main issues is nearly identical.

Edit: And as Moonbeam said above, you've been reasonable in your support of Hillary. What's quoted above is fanatical rambling (IMO of course). :p

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the McCains and Clintons worth more than the Obamas?

Obama knocks Hillary out of the race, so he is obviously the enemy. You can't vote for the enemy!

Don't let them get to you. I predict that none of these Hillary supporters who claim they will vote for McCain over Obama will actually follow through. And if they do, fuck em, they are dumb.

Agreed. It's all ego and internet silliness really. I don't mean to poo-poo people's strong emotional attachments to their favorite candidate here, but c'mon... that's what it really is: emotion. Get over it.
I know that the Hillary crowd has been fighting the Bushies on the internet for 8 (and more) years, and I know that that has created a lot of this emotion, but hey Hillaryites! the Obama crowd are not the Bushies. And we share the same goal, which is getting those idiot Bushies out of office before they bankrupt this great country of ours.
Let's all keep our eye on the ball, eh?

Elitism is not derived from wealth, though one may of course find it more populous in such circles, but it is rather a state of mind that espouses belief in being better or above other people. It is also a perception fostered upon certain persons, and as Hillary has won the uneducated vote and Obama the degree crowd, he is de facto perceived as more elite. Who said politics was fair? ;)

Sorry, but the idea that the self-made black man, son of a single mother, is an elitist when compared to the daughter of the textile giant or the scion of Southern Old Money is worse that just an unfair Orwellian double-think... it's insulting. Because either you're stupid or you think everyone else is.

One component of the opposition to Obama might be that many women feel that that women have been given the short end of the stick in society (even though, in reality, it's the other way around). This is their chance to have a WOMAN president! Finally a woman will be in a position of real power and they'll be goddamned if some clean cut, eloquent black guy is gonna get in the way of that. If they can't have Hillary in the White House then dagnabbit no Democrat should be in the White House.

Lol! The reason why Obama was able to come to prominence in the first place is because hordes of people hated Hillary. The "hope" that Obama represented was the possibility that the Democrats could have a candidate other than Hillary.

It looks Obama will win the nomination now unless Hillary gets a hitman to take him out or one of the rabid Hillary Feminazi supporters assassinates him. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Hillary ordered the hit; I doubt she's above something like that. Perhaps she'll explode in a fit of rage and anger once Obama's nomination has been all but finalized. I can just envision her morphing into a forty-foot tall monster--the Hildabeast--and rampaging around at the Convention, eating people while saying "Don't forget to vote!". (Borrowed that from the season finale of Lucy: Daughter of the Devil.)

Take a hit off the inhaler Vic. I'm talking about general perception, not my perception. And the exit polls in PA have borne this perception out. The question thrown around the past few weeks has been about Obama's elitism, not Hillary's or McCain's. You can dispute what is being discussed, but that's your blindness. I don't think he's an elitist, but the San Fran comments brought that issue into the discussion. It was exploited by both his opponents and resonated for a while, long enough for her to win big in PA.
