Yeah, pretty much. Anyone who has worked with her or observed her for an extended period will say as much. Carl Bernstein, for example, who wrote a biography of her, and who is quite critical of the Clintons, says her motor just keeps going and going and never slows down. Which is why I said earlier in the thread that she was probably trying to work through illness.

So her version makes sense because it is consistent with what was known about her prior to the incident. While the right's version is based on drawing inferences from fragments of photos and video, and making the assumption that whatever she says is automatically untrue. I'm beginning to think the American right is pretty much a bag of conspiracy theories and not much else these days.

When I am taking away all the BEYOND absurd fantasy stories "about her health", what remains is a 68 year old woman who has "standard" health issues like broken elbows, concussions and for fuck's sake a spell of pneumonia, things I consider minor and rather "normal", things that can happen all the time to people not even at old age.

You, however, have a list of "health issues" that are allegedly going back many years, desperately trying to construct a "gravely ill" person based on several by itself trivial things..and MANY entirely made-up things.

I think that is a huge reason as to why we are moving away from capitalism and its ideas again. The Right was only a champion when it benefited those who supported their side. Once it was not needed they left it. The left never really supporting it means nobody is fighting for it.

Honestly, I dont know if a party would ever really be able to make it part of their platform really. I mean, Capitalism does not allow for protectionism and that is a big part of political parties.

It's certainly true that the bulk of the left doesn't believe that "white males" need protection. What, precisely, do you think they need protection from? You mention a higher suicide rate, above, for example. But what is to be done about high suicide rates among white males from a political perspective? The only thing I can think of is keeping guns out of their hands but that is not exactly what the political right wants to hear.

I think you're drawing a false equivalency here. To disprove that, tell us what needs to be done from a public policy standpoint to protect white males.
