Hillary Denies Defeat Looming For Her Campaign

Denial is always the first step.

You'd be a great coach. To the Giants:

"Look guys, they're 18-0, we don't have a chance. Let's skip the superbowl and go ice skating, we'll have a better time."

Bad analogy.

Hillary is getting her ass handed to her.

she's losing.

but it's not like a ron paul loss... she ran competitively and will only end up losing by a small fraction.

Let's take a look at how she's "getting her ass handed to her."

Popular Vote
Obama 10,300,410
Clinton 9,375,213

She is losing by 4.7% of the vote. Oh man, what a blowout! How dare she not just throw in the towel!

None, whatsoever. Never.

However, I won't be completely satisfied until she is dismissed from government service entirely. Her being a Senator is a blight on the entire country. Bill and Hillary are both classless.

Hopefully, the era of the Clintons will soon be over.

LOL, if that makes you feel better, go ahead and think that way.

At least you can admit she'll lose. It's more than I can say for her.

If you are trying to hurt my feelings by throwing Ron Paul's numbers into this thread, you won't. I never really thought he had a chance in hell.

Maybe I hurt your feelings by seeing the Democrat's race with nonpartisan eyes. I hope not, it surely wasn't my intention, but I know the truth hurts.

Popular vote means nothing. Hillary hasn't won a state since Super Tuesday. She's way behind in delegate count with very little hope in sight.

Yet every pundit is still hesitant to definitely count her out, recognizes that she's a fighter, and doesn't expect her to quit, if ever, until after OH/TX.

Amazing that Obama supporters are bashing her for having...hope.

At this point, that's not hope, it's denial.

To me it means that nearly half of the democratic voters in this country thought she was the better candidate. Over 9 million people. That may not help her in this screwed up delegate system, but it means something to me.

Funny how the Obama supporters, who are all about the will of the people and how superdelegates should't go against that, are so quick to discount the popular vote, the real true voice of the people where everyone's vote counts equally.

Even if you just count the delegates, this election surely is no blowout, except in the mind of some rabid Obama fanboys. He joked about his supporters being delusional. Well, if he was talking about people in this forum, it wouldn't be a joke at all.

You ever answer the race baiting question I posed to you? Or are the type to just fan the flames and run?

Who is discounting the popular vote? lol

He is a million votes ahead. I'm sure he agrees with you that popular vote is important.

Hillary supporters have been giving me more laughs than RP supporters lately.

And if FLA and MI had been counted it would be much closer than 900K. I was just trying to school the Obama fanboy who said that Hillary was getting her ass handed to her.

Any reasonable person sees it for what it is, a very close, competitive election. Anyone who's not all hopped up on Obama kool-aid, that is.

Indeed.

You laugh at someone with the temerity to question your characterization of the losing side in the closest primary in modern history as having gotten her ass handed to her? I guess the Giants obliterated the Patriots too. (Sorry, I miss foosball already)

Her words came be moving at times and she's definitely been through a lot. But she has a tendency of putting her foot in her mouth one too many times. Calling people that voted for Obama "delusional" is political suicide. Furthermore, dismissing entire states is highly disrespectful. The lady has no common sense, at least politically. She seems angry. But the only person she should be angry at is Bill.

Yeah, if we count FL and MI, she's only down by about 390,000 votes. That's nothing.

The fact of the matter is that Obama is wiping the floor in votes and delegates, and that's where it matters. The math just isn't there for the Queen any more.

No, I look on (often) in awe... Hillary was supposed to have this locked up about 6 months ago. She was ahead by 25 to 35 point margins, nearly 35 points nationally, and her campaign never planned to continue beyond Super Tuesday. It was going to be all champagne and cocktails by then. So when put in that context, yes, she has gotten her ass handed to her. Over and over again.

The complete and utter collapse of a veteran front-runner will be studied with great interest for a long time to come.

Pabster, I wish you'd tone it down a bit. The coffin isn't completely nailed shut yet. Don't jinx it! I don't want to see a situation of overconfidence like the Patriots fans before the Superbowl only for a major shock / upset to occur.

Knock on wood that Obama takes care of business on March 4th. Until then, don't jinx it for the rest of us!
