Hillary Clinton to appear on The O'Reilly Factor

Senator Hillary Clinton will appear for the first time ever on The O'Reilly Factor(date unknown). How do you think this event will proceed?
I tend to believe that the far right republicans like O'Reilly and the far left democrats like Hillary have both gone so far that they are actually rubbing shoulders. This is going to be a wimpy ass interview and Bill might as well be kissing Hillary because he knows in reality that his agenda differs very little from hers.

Confusing, you say he's far left and she's far right but there's little difference in their positions? Care to explain?

I'd love to see Bill0 vs Hillary. They must seriously hate each other so it'd be a hoot.

This could either be MEGA entertaining to see two people that I could care less about make (even bigger) idiots of themselves on cable TV or it could be a snooze-fest. Tivo fo sho.

They both will be attempting to earn credit by bashing Obama.

Since that is all both will be relegated to in the near future.

The repubs still want Hillary and all of her baggage. He will lob them in nice and easy and she will proceed to play along in the O-basha fest.

yeah I say they both bash obama with bill getting some digs in on her where he can to keep his street cred

I doubt they will bash Obama because these are both good people and he won't be there to defend himself. That's not what good people do.

How much less could you care?

I can't imagine the base would be very happy if she were to attack Obama while on FNC.

But my guess is softballs -- good for O'Reilly, good for Hillary...

He's more concerned that Obama gets skewered first as he's the wildcard in this election. While Hillary vs. McCain would be a good ol' fashioned Red vs. Blue election with the usual lines already drawn.

His network wants to appear legitimate.

I will say that he'll push hard enough to make a sound bite for that base. ("We ask the tough questions")

She'll push back just hard enough to claim she "took on" Fox News, possibly to use in a fundraising e-mail.

Everybody wins 🙂

[Edit] If she could implicitly goad him into a shouting match, she would never lose another primary ever again

LOL, sorry, I guess I'm not used to seeing others attribute any kind of credibility to Bill O'Reilly, street or otherwise.

I predict opening niceties followed by veiled FU's, then general agreement over a similar agenda.

Exactly. FoxNews would love nothing more than a McCain vs Hillary fight. The great American hero versus the Communist.

But their attempt is only as desperate as Hillary's. Unless there is some serious bamboozling, Obama has the nomination wrapped up.

Don't you know? Bill O totally keeps it gangster

how weird, for a candidate to actually talk to someone who's not a complete and total sycophant.

I'm sure this would be lauded as demonstrative of Obama's ability to be a Uniter if it were him going on the show. 😛

I think you hit the nail on the head. Both will be seen as triumphant to their constituents while really nothing was said with real meaning.

Democratic voters watch O'Reilly's show?

That's news to me.

Its no loss to the Republicans. If Democrats don't watch and Hillary shines, no loss. If Republicans watch, and Obama is smeared, good for McCain. McCain is due to lose some votes from some Republicans and really Independents. They want to keep that to a minimum.
