I'm hoping that a powerful third party forms out of nowhere and launches a $1 billion ad campaign to win the hearts and minds of Americans. I don't want another Republican or Democrat in office.

Good luck with that.

Would be nice, but its not going to happen. Neither party wants 3rd party competition.

EDIT: P&N? 😱
i have searched the news and i do not see any article quoting Hillary Clinton as speaking that statement.

i call shens.

she did say this recently which is not giving her good publicity:

As everyone probably knows by now, Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) on Monday told a black audience at a King holiday event in New York: "Because when you look at the way the House of Representatives has been run, it has been run like a plantation. And you know what I'm talking about."

Didn't even read the thread...

Did you hear her blatant racism????

"it's being run like a plantation"

kiss it good bye hillary.

-edit-

Religion is bad ... blah blah blah ... religion is bad ... blah blah blah ...

yawn

I think that's misinterpreting the quote. She said it's intolerance that's cloaked in religion.

Well, I don't think it's the biggest thread to world peace, but I do agree it is a huge problem. Man, I hate religious zealots who are so blinded by their religion.

Sounds like it is more aimed at islamists than christians or anyone else.

planet you are from name it?

😕 That statement sounds like it came right out of a speech about terrorism. She's cozying up to christians, not attacking them.

Yep. She's making a hard turn to the right... while attacking House Repubs at a black church on MLK day as being analogous to plantation owners.

Sounds like good old Hilary to me.

Clinton doesn't have any guts, or she would have been out front criticizing Bush while her peers were afraid to oppose him in the wake of 9/11.

Clinton is simply sticking her finger in the wind to see which way the wind is blowing...another useless politician.

religious people are the absolute worse people.

yep, shucks, serial killers, they're nothing. That Jesus freak over there, he's the real danger to our society.

thats right.

child molestors - let them free

rapists - throw them out of jails because they don't belong there

drug abusers - they belong in the streets, not jails

we must let these people out of jails so we can make room for religious people

have you not read up lately? the next witchhunt, or the next massive crackdown will be against anyone who is religious.

put away that bible because these "tolerant" and "open minded" are coming after you.

maybe these "tolerant" people will replace our pledge of allegiance with quotes from NAMBLA's public relations document

yep, we as a society are evolving

EDIT: P&N? 😱

She's just playing politician and doing it well.

She knows that many people view Bush as a Christian that is trying to force Christian values on the USA. She knows that those people dislike the idea. So, if she claims to be opposed to it, too, she'll gather their support.

 my fellow TFNN'er 😀

I've often thought how far a person would get in a run for President. At which point does being a good person shoot you down?
