Just as Germany was becoming too powerful, Russia is becoming an economic powerhouse. The EU simply can not be a subject to Russias vast natural resources.

So by "both sides of the story," you mean I should trust Nazi propaganda as a resource for accurate descriptions of what Churchill said and when? You didn't even couch it with any qualifier to indicate the nature of your source. You just cited it as fact, then made an argument based on the reality it portrayed. I gather the reason I am the only person to call you on it is because nobody else bothered to click through your link.

Are you implying that President Obama wants war with Russia? I would regard that proposition as too insane to impute to another person, but then again I am dealing with the same man who blames France and England for WWII.

Dude, I was just about to defend your post as attempted humor.

It is unbelievable because this is not Germany's side - which did have some legitimate points, had Germany's actions not soon de-legitimized them. This is literally Nazi propaganda, as your own link makes abundantly clear. There is no attempt here to make a rational argument, merely taking a tiny, insignificant truth and wrapping it in a stinking mountain of lies to whip up the German people and make them accept as necessary atrocities they would otherwise reject.

You literally could not find a worse argument by blindly throwing a rock at a kindergarten class watching a Barney Meets Ghost of Thomas film festival.

EDIT: As far as wanting peace, there are two possible routes. The first is appeasement and blind, stupid hope. The second is to make the cost of war and aggression higher than whatever the aggressor can hope to gain. It is to Obama's credit that he is deliberately pursuing the latter. Or as it is otherwise known, the only one ever known to work.

Russia annexed Crimea, what is the USA going to do about it other than sanctions ? Nothing. This will be all forgotten in a few years and the sanctions will be lifted. Its crazy that Obama thinks this country has a moral leg to stand on anyways, Iraq was a disaster with 1 million left dead, Libya is a disaster, Syria WOULD be a disaster but Putin stepped in and bitch slapped Obama on the world stage and Obama backed down from fucking THAT place up even more than it already is from its civil war...Russia annexing a Russian MAJORITY region is not a big deal.
