Hilary and Jeb in 2008?

Now what? Has the country gone further insane? I don't think a woman could win yet, and I surely don't want another Bush in there, much less one named JEB!

I don't believe Hillary could make it, and I DEFINATELY know the Country will not take another BUSH. Both family names have people so polarized, they are political waste.

It won't be Rudy Guiliani (*COUGH* America's Mayor) is radioactive material also - he's proven himself, over the past few months, to be nothing but a Bush whore. He's guilty by association, at the very least.

Since America doesn't mind Bush, I doubt they'd mind a Bush whore, as you call him.

I'd like to see the democrats put some body up that appeals to middle america better than Hillary. Perhaps Obama could do that. Maybe edwards. Despite the appeal of having a woman candidate, I think Hillary would be suicide.

For the Reps, my best guess would be Guiliani. He could challenge the dems in the north east and he'll enjoy the rep dominance in the south and midwest.

Guilliani is most certainly a political whore. He runs around sucking off Bush, getting himself on camera to boot. Does anyone here *really* agree with some of the crap he says about Bush? How he's a great leader and all? I don't think Bush will go down in history as one of the greats.

I agree that nominating Hillary would be political suicide. Based on this past election, hopefully the Democrats have learned that trying to elect someone who A) has a very liberal record and B) is from the North doesn't really work in their favor.

I see Obama getting a bit more experience in the federal government first. My guess is we will see him emerge in 2012 or 2016 as a potential candidate. I wouldn't be surprised if Edwards showed up again as a potential candidate in 2008 though.

I remember when immediately after the RNC, Gulliani got on Fox news and started spouting "Sadaam was a weapon of mass destruction therefore the war was justified". Political whore++

Yeah, Obama can appeal to moderates, but he's still pretty new. He even said he wasn't entertaining the idea of running for president because he wanted more experience first. (I'm from Illinois)

The running joke seems to be that Hillary Clinton will run against Rudy Guiliani... which I suppose would be an "interesting" race, but certainly not very moderate IMO.

Has anyone considered the possibility that the current occupant of the White House, whose party controls both houses of Congress, might attempt to rescind the presidential term limit in 2008 and run for a third term?

it's way too early to speculate, beyond the obvious canidates of Hillary and McCain.

who know's where we'll be in 2008. American could be looking for a liberal dove, or a conservative war hawk. there's just too many factors to consider.

It won't be either of them.

It will be Neal Bush vs Roger Clinton
HA! Now *that* would be an interesting campaign!

they could have a debate comparing their crimes
Roger would write his own campaign song and Neal could certainly fund his. 😉

thats would be quite funny...perhaps we could pitch this to some TV execs for a reality tv series.

on the other hand...with Cheneys weak heart...I fully expect him to be retrofitted with a black suit and a helmut any day now.
