I'm still a fan of both shows. At least both spawned some big time actors.

Tough one, I'd have to say 90s SNL takes the cake but overall I could count on MadTV to make me laugh. That skit is classic! What I hate about SNL is that NBC pulls youtube videos so I can't look up favorite skits and their search on NBC.Com is horrendous so I end up having to pirate entire episodes if I can even recall what skits are in what episodes.

MadTV still on the air? Well I guess that answers that.

SNL>MadTV in their best years.

Laugh out loud moments have always come from SNL. Especially with hosts that act in a manner that mocks or is contrary to what they are known for.

SNL has produced almost nothing enjoyable since the nineties (from what I've seen).

"Dick in a Box?" Please.

One of my favorites.

Most sketches/skits on either show were hit or miss, but MadTV had a higher percentage of hits at the time. Enough that it was worth watching the entirety of an episode, whereas I didn't often feel like watching SNL unless they happen to have I musical guest I like... even then, I haven't watched SNL in years, excluding the random clip someone recommends. The "How a Bill Becomes a Law" bit was pretty funny.
