Hilarious Joke

I guess this could go into the War Forum, but I think that's more for serious discussion rather than jokes, so...ENJOY!!!

In Baghdad, a company of Iraqi soldiers are marching past a sand dune, when all of a sudden they hear a voice from behing the dune saying, "One US Marine from Baltimore is tougher than 10 Iragi soldiers!!". In an instant, 10 soldiers go over the dune to investigate. A few yelps and gunshots are heard and then all goes silent.

About a minute later, a voice booms "One US MArine from Baltimore is better than 100 Iraqi soldiers!!!" Well by now the company commander is pissed so he orders 100 troops to storm the hill. An explosion is heard followed by gunshots, and then all is quiet.

A moment later, the same voice is heard laughing this time "Shh! Shh!.....Okay..ahem...ONE MARINE FROM BALTIMORE IS BETTER THAN 1000 IRAQI SOLDIERS!!!" The company commander send the remaining troops over the hill to attack the unknown. A large battle ensues, the sky turnes red and huge explosions are heard. Gunshots rattle and cries are heard. While this is going on, a badly wounded Iraqi climbs back over the hill with an obvious limp. In a thickly accented voice, he says "Send no more troops.....Its a TRAP!... there are 2 Marines behind that hill" 😀😀😀

I was hardly being anal. I was expressing my opinion in the fact that this was the only thing I found funny. I'm not even sure there is a term for this type of joke. I would probably throw this under the pile of 'American supremacy' or 'American propaganda' jokes that I feel are inappropriate and unnecessary.

What's wrong with you? Change the Marine to a Brittish guy or something, I don't care. I thought it was hilarious not because of the US Marine, but because of the joke.

I guess I could possibly see how it might be funny to some people. It wasn't to me, that's all I was expressing. This same joke might have held a different context to me if it wasn't butchered with today's current political battle.

Maybe it's just me that's tired of having the US people being spoon-fed pro-American anti-every other country sentiments every day? I wouldn't have found the joke nearly as un-funny if it were changed from US and Iraqui soldiers to soldiers and enemy soldiers. *shrug*

Most of the time, jokes aren't realistic. That's the goddamn point.

But it was boring. It's a twist of an old navy/marines joke that wasn't funny the first time either.
