The movie was insanely good. It was everything I had hoped for, and more, for a new highlander movie. The genius that went into the decisions to have sped up combat is too much for my brain to handle.

They would band together in the short term to ensure that they would survive longer. Immortals may form long term relationships with other immortals, but they seldom stay near each other for extended periods. There are some exceptions, such as the married immortals in the series who were married for several centuries.

There are also immortals who don't actively participate in the game, ie, they don't go head hunting. They only fight when they have to.

Edit - Amanda had her moments in the series, but she worked better along side Adrian Paul.

Well that wonderful for someone that didn't even like her in the series. Heh.

Worst piece of crap ever to air on television, possibly. Yes, I'm including Frasier, The Wayne Brady variety show, Full House, and Pokemon.

No way, just the fact that Adrian Paul was in it makes it better than any of those shows.

I think its sad that a good actor like Adrian Paul has to make these kind of movies to make a living :(

YOu do all know it is a continuation of the TV series and not the movie series, right?

Also, som e say Highlander 2 sucks. You are right. Even the makers of it say it is not officially part of the series. Not just the fans, but the writers!

I watched Highlander 2 and was blown away by its stupidity. I assumed that any other sequel would be worse, so haven't watched any. Guess I assumed right :)

I liked the series when it played on USA during the late afternoon. Good, for a syndicated series that played on basic cable and on random unaffiliated network stations after 2 am :p

None of the movies REALLY make sense together because Connor won the prize in the original movie. I like to think of the movies as a choose your own adventure. You can go 1 to 2, which doesn't make sense anyway, 1 to 3, which was an updated sequel, or 1 to the series to endgame and the source (3 wouldn't make sense because it was in 1994 and according to endgame Connor would have been in the sanctuary then).

I know this thread is getting pretty old for an ATOT thread, but I finally got around to watch this movie.

This movie was the epitome of a cinematic catastrophe. One could fill a sock with nickles and whack at a puss covered sock monkey and achieve a greater degree of entertainment. Recovering from watching this drivel is going to take years of self-medicating with grain alcohol and daily sessions of bouncing my head off a piss-covered linoleum floor.

As immediate punishment for watching this horrendous train-wreck I, naturally, sat through the entire thing.
