Highlander MMO

I think they need to stop making MMO's of every stupid little thing.
Focus more on an MMO that MIGHT be good if done well, like Star Trek or Star Wars or maybe GTA or something similar.

TDU was supposed to be the first racing MMO but it never worked right. I dunno if they gave up on that for TDU 2 or not.

Motor City Online was the first and it was awesome. RIP. TDU is like Guild Wars where you just buy the game and play online.

Actually a hardcore Highlander game would be interesting concept if done right. Obviously death isn't permanent but killing bad guys and taking their powers... yeah I am down with that.

PvP only. You lose your head, you lose your account.

There can be only one.

Do you realise how many suicides would incur? Dont forget the late 70s early 80s when D&D became mainstream because of the kids killing themselves over their characters dying.....

Although this thread is insane, does anyone remember Everquest's Discord server? It was only up for a couple months as a special promotion, and when you died, your character was perma-dead. It was a special PvP server to celebrate I think the Gates of Discord expansion. That was a fun time!

Unless this is free to play, I cannot see it taking off.

No point. It's too easy to grief in these types of games.
