Just wondering what the highest wu/day recorded on a single computer among team members is...

To get things started, my dual AthlonMP 1600+ system did 11 yesterday all by it's lonesome. Anyone else?
 
My best machine is averaging (over quite a long period) 3 Hours, 10 Minutes @ WU. I'll put it up against all comers for a single CPU. 😀
 
Does salvaging a harddrive from a dead machine count? When I put the harddrive from my dead dual Celeron 450 in the dual Athlon Thunderbird, it dump 35 workunits on that day😀

My dual Athlon 1700+ XP produced 13 workunits on a 24 hour period. I got lucky and all workunits have >1.0 angle range:🙂

I guess I need to get an MPX soon to be able to really brag something.😱
 
My dualie Tyan Tiger MP w/ 1.2Ghz MP's does 10.5-11 WU's/day.

Fastest box would probably go to cobra's SGI servers. If I remember correctly he said they can do 1000+ WU's/day. :Q

Dang you guys...I've only gotten 10 out of my Dual MP 1.4GHz TBirds....Now I'm drooling over XP chips...maybe trash my daughters Asus A7V with 1GHz TBird for a new dual system...or maybe keep it and get the dual too! :Q

(Actually, I can't afford any more right now....🙁)

As hard as it is to believe...that's my wife's surfing PC......she refuses to use anything else...and she surfs a bunch! :Q
 
wish i could install some DC clients on some of the machines we have at work... multimillion dollar IBM S/390 mainframes.. Sun Enterprise 10000 servers (some rediculous box w/ 60-odd cpu's and gigs and gigs of ram), etc.. could pump out some serious # crunching.


but i want to keep my job. 😀

It would be fun if they would give you permission just to see what they could do over the course of a few hours or days. 😉
 
man u guys have some setup. I have a measely 1 GHZ Athlon, but I do my best. I have quit playing games and minimize surfing except to check stats of course. DOing my bit guys!!
