In 1982 I was arrested for "Speeds in excess of 125 MPH" on my motorcycle. The only reason I got caught was because the motor blew up. <---- Kids, do not try this at home.

That guy was the President of the Ferarri Club of Japan if I remember right. They arrested him.

On Gumball 3000 in the US... they pulled over an F50 for going 187mph.

My frined got pulled over going 144 in a 35zone in an F355 Spyder but got a warning He explained it was his friends dads car and let him take it out for a spin.

My ex/galpal Lola was arrested for 155MPH in Georgia in her Jagual XJ12. What was funny was that the trooper was going to let her off with a warning until she mouthed off.

I've personally done 175MPH in a M5 with a few bolt ons and 155MPH in the 4.6is.

I went down to the Gumball 3000 when it came through New Orleans. Two guys in Diablos were checking top speeds (they were looking at trip computers or something inside the car) and they both said 186 as their top speed for that day. There was a guy in a Koenigsegg that said he hit 245 mph but I call shenanigans. He was going faster then the two guys in the Diablos though, they were complaining that they couldn't keep up.

yeah i think that's bull, even with 210mph he would be smoking those two diablos already, 245 that's too hard to achieve i believe

speed kills!!! plz don't do more then 10mph over the speed limit cause that is already very lenient. If everyone get pulled over for even 1mph, there would be no speeding at all. I hate fast driver, they encourage other to drive fast too! it's like madness! I usually drive a little slower then speed limit then these speed demon driver behind me just zoom pass going +20 over the speed limit, too crazy man.

Wow... anything above 150 MPH just seems crazy to me. I guess I just need to find a way to get up there. I've seen the following:

105 MPH - 2002 Cavalier LS Sport Coupe (OBD-2 limited)
111 MPH - 1990 Cavalier VL Coupe (would you feel any safer at higher speeds with 185/80R13s?)
122 MPH - 1999 Seabring Convertible (passenger)

Wow, good thing that the drive didn't jam when the motor blew. Having the rear wheel skid at that speed would be more than a little bad.

The fastest Ive ever been is 199km in my Commodore.
I dont know how fast that is in mph.
It was pretty fast.
I probably won't do it again, I havent had it that long.
On the plus side: the engine still had a bit more in it and its fully standard!
No mods yet.
