Hi all just wondering when I should stop. Currently I'm trying to get my 2500+ to 2.4. I'm at 11x213 right now on 1.75 vcore and I'm wondering how high I can safely put it?? My temps right now are 42 Idle / 54 Load with OCZ Gladiator 3 and AS5

i wouldnt go higher than 1.75

some people will go 1.8 but thats pushing it in my book

i guess if i had the funds to replace the cpu it would be more acceptable

Ok cool, I am at 1.75 and I think that's my limit :) But at 1.8 and 11x215 while running Prime and 3dmark it rebooted and 1.8 and 11x213 prime failed about 30 tests in. Now i'm trying 11x211 at 1.75 @ 2.33 which is enough I think. I guess it won't do 2.4 without going over 1.8

I was running my xp1700 @1.9V for a month with no problems but my temps were 38C idle 48C full load with my slk800. I backed it down to 1.8V now cause i had to lower my fsb due to ram instability. If your cooling is sufficient , 1.9V shouldn't hurt anything but others will disagree;)

So the general consensus is 1.8 after undervolting?? My load temp right now is 57C idle is 38 at 1.8 undervolted to 1.77. I know this chip has a lot more speed in it but I"m scared now, lol. I think a 2.31 oc with 220 FSB and 3200 RAM 1:1 is enough for me, but then again, when is oc'ing ever enough knowing if you just reboot and hop into the BIOS and put up the fsb a few more mhz it'll be that much faster?? Ah gotta love it never being enough.
