Highest possible score in Super Mario World?

Riddle me this: what was the highest possible file rating you could get in Super Mario World? Was it 100 (as in percentage) or was it 96? Anyone know for sure? Anyone have a 100 file?

I got like 101%, I finished everything possible including the secret tower in bowser land.

I forget what the number is, but when you find everything it puts a star beside the number.

I could never beat that fortress in Bowser's Valley right before the back door entrance. Those spikes were too tough to get under. I beat every other single level though.

its not a percent its simply the number of level exits you found.

It's 96 ... when you get 96, on the game start-up select screen, you'll seee *96.

Anyone happen to know how many points you can get in the game before it stops counting?

Hahah those spikes in that tower were incredibly tough, but after 1 hour of trying I finaly did it, I was happppppy. This was about when I was 6 too

Man, I remember that fortress. It was hard enough just trying to find the exit from the ghost house to get to that fortress. Boy was I in for a surprise when I found out that the fortress was even harder. WHATSUPWITDAT!?!
