Highest OC

What are the highest OC that I could get out of a 1700+ and a 2100+, with only air cooling (thermalright slk800).

it's all based on the stepping on the chip. i think someone here at anandtech got 2400mhz with a 1700+ & slk800

Well, currently I have the 1700+ at 1.7ghz. Shoud reaching 2ghz be pretty easy?

I hear 2ghz with a 1700+ is a fairly mediocre goal. personally, I'm running 2415mhz (11.5*210) on my 2100+ (0310, AIUHB, the 1.6vcore one, DUT3C?) with an slk-900 and tornado (on a fanbus, duh.)

2.2ghz-2.3 on air is a good max, 2.4 is great for the 1700+ for the 2100+, 2.2ghz or so is as good as any, 2.3 or so is nearing the cap.

yup, thats a DUT3C. most 1700+ will fall in the 2200-2300 range

ive found that the highest yielding 1700+ cpus are the JIUHB's. usually they do 2ghz @ default and top out at 2.3-2.4.
