wow i just read the specs on the Muskin black Hi perf level 2 memory from their webpage

this seems like what i've been looking for for several days
it is a little expensive but those fast latencies are nice

Cardio what is the highest vdimm you've pumped into yur muskin mem and what kinda speeds have you got it to ??

yeah it's 200 bucks a pop

400 bucks for just the mem in my system (2x512mb) is quite high

guess it wins the title of most expensive memory

buffalo pc3700 (winbond chips) is half as much at 99 bucks

any of you know a good review of the black hi perf level II pc3500 ???

sweet i found the thread it was ANAND so i picked up the dual pack (2x512mb) of pc3500 level II
the total after tax and shipping was $379.66

I dont understand why he is running the test at 7-4-4 these things say 2-2-2 on Mushkin webpage You sure he is testing the level 2 in that review? I just ordered a stick of 256 3500 Level 2 I hope I can run it with my Corsair.

yeah cause once you order they throw on like 25 bucks tax for living in california and 9 bucks shipping

G/L on that barton. From what I gather, they do not make it all that well past 210FSB, or even 200FSB ftm. You could have saved some $$ going with Corsairs PC3200 low latency stuff from Googlegear.

yeah if the chip maxes out i ain't too worried
i just didn't want the motherboard/mem to be a bottleneck this time around
coming from a kt133 and pc133 with about 100mhz fsb anything i get with what's coming should make me happy
i got tired having to mod athlon xp's just to make um work in that board
plus the barton with it's added cache should help me with seti a bit

i can't wait
