Highest 6600GT OC?

I just need to know. Also the card is made by Gigabyte, dont worry about the model.

you shuold be able to get higher clocks out the PCI-E...the bridge chip on the AGP ones (like mine) gets pretty hot when overclocking and seems to limit them...

610/1255 34C idle, 43C load.

Even then I got artifacts. I was using RivaTuner, so the temps are accurate. The artifacts aren't temp related I'm sure, how do you do it?

I use a pea size drop of arctic silver 5, other than that I haven't done anything special. From what I read about other 6600 overclocks I'm pretty lucky to get what I have. I'm loveing the fact that this card only cost me $170 about 6 months ago and still isn't haveing any performance issues yet.

Yeah, it needs cooling of its own. Highest I've gone is 550/1100.

610/1255 is great :thumbsup: and those temps are fine.

i have a gigabyte 6600GT PCI-E the highest for mine all stock cooling is 560/1200 for it to run on all games without any problems
