Highest 3DMark 2001 score

I didn't see this posted. This guy has his fsb overclocked to 185mhz and his cpu overclocked to 2035mhz. Not a bad overclock if you ask me. His score reaches 11,119.

3D2k1 is fun, but it's so easily manipulatd that it is nearly worthless, except for the seeing the results on your own PC

It's about twice my score with my overclocked Ti200 and 1.2ghz Thunderbird.

That is high. The highest I've managed to score in the nature test is 51.4 fps.

It's a synthetic benchmark. I don't play 3DMark2001. How does this rig perform in real world applications? How much faster will I be able to encode my DVD's? Just because a Palo running at 1.6Ghz can beat a P4 at 2Ghz in almost all tasks doesn't mean the 2Ghz Palo will be all that much faster...oh wait...who am I kidding...yes it will. :Q

Well, I'm not an AMD person, nor an Intel person. My last cpu before my current XP 1600+ was a 1.4ghz Tbird(before I killed it🙁) and before that I was using a P3 700@1ghz, before that a Celery 500, and before that a Celery 333. BTW my laptop has a P3 500.

I don't feel like starting anything. Anyways, the main reason I posted was for the overclock. I think a Athlon at over 2ghz and a FSB at 183mhz is pretty darn good oc.

I notice that 3dmark2k1 is very sensitive to FSB speed. A 1Mhz increase in FSB will give you like 50 to 70points! I don't know why that's the case. But I bet if he was running at 133FSB the 2Ghz XP won't get nearly as high of a score..

the nature test was nuts..and my Geforce3 mem was at 500Mhz.....sigh...

Must be the insanely high FSB!!!

wowow. i got a serious inferiority complex seeing all this stuff.

i have an asus p2-99 440zx mobo and geforce2 pro/gts.
my score if i remember correctly was around 1200.. it sucks completely, consummately, totally and absolutely.

help what should i doooooo..
