Higher thread count = Best sheets?

Thats what I said.

I just know a girl I used to date had the most amazing sheets ever and she attributed it to high thread count.

i bought some 180ct sheets from walmart to use as scrap cloth. I have no clue how someone could sleep on that.

I've never heard of 1000 thread count.
The highest I've seen has been like 400 for the really expensive sheets.

There is more to it than just thread count. The thickness and type of cotton used is important also.
But as a general rule, higher thread count is better. They will feel softer and smoother than lower count sheets.

Just open up some of the really cheap kids sheet sets that are like 150 or 200 thread count and feel the difference. They will feel rough and scratchy compared to the 300 and up sheets.
