Higher elevation = more drunk?

They say being at a higher elevation means you can get drunk easier. Why is this so? Anyone have any information on this?

I think it has something to do with air pressure and its effect on the alcohol absorption rate. Whatever it is I know that whenever I drink on a plane I feel it more and always end up with a headache after landing.

It's a myth.

It's because your body is still adjusting to a higher altitude, and thus the more dizzyness and sickness during hangovers and you get dehydrated a lot easier at higher altitudes.
