What speed is required for a connection to be considered "high speed"??

Preferably the Industry standard if possible

High speed is subjective. I'm pretty sure it's anything faster than dial-up...

High speed is a marketing term, not a specification or standard.

128Kbit/sec (e.g. ISDN or DSL) for several years was widely considered the minimum entry point for the broadband range.
