<< but still haven't gotten one from CalTech yet, I think that they probably don't advertise at all though, >>

It surprised me too. I wouldn't think that prestigious Ivy League schools need to advertise to get applications.

<< Hell yeah, Colorado Institue of Mining >>

I'm pretty sure(actually positive...I live just 15 minutes east of the school), it's called the Colorado School of Mines.

I sent in two applications. Got my acceptance to CSU after only one week of waiting, and just a few weeks ago I got into the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Kewl.

Last year, as a high school senior, I got tons of letters from CalTech. Thats why I chose to apply there. Than of course, after visiting the campus after being accepted, I DECIDED TO STAY THE HECK AWAY FROM THERE. I hope some of you guys join me in Cambridge next year, if you're thinking about MIT, drop me an email. I'll be glad to answer any questions or have lunch with you guys when you visit during the Campus Preview Weekend.

are you talking about that junk mail colleges send as advertising or the real letters telling you they accept you as a student?
