High school drama is a joke

So I'm a Junior in High School, and my graduating class is '08. The seniors, '07, hate my group of friends, because one of my friends, while drunk, hooked up with one of the seniors sisters boyfriend (could it be a little more confusing). Therefore, they do whatever they can to be assholes to us for no apparent reason.

Anyways, today, I went out for lunch with some friends. Juniors aren't technically allowed to go out to lunch, so yeah, my fault, whatever. Who follows rules in high school? Just to clarify, because I can see the flaming coming, I KNOW I SHOULD NOT HAVE GONE OUT. IT'S IRRELEVANT TO THIS STORY. A senior girl saw me at a nearby restaurant, and proceeded to go back to school and tell the principal that I had gone out for lunch, and I got slapped with a Saturday Detention.

I've never talked to this girl in my life, nor did I even realize she knew who I was. Apparently because my friend made a mistake means that the entire senior class needs to be an immature ass to anyone who associates with her.

What makes you think she did know you? Kids are tattletales. Simple as that.

There's no reason for anyone to go out of their way to get someone in trouble if it doesn't effect them. They need to grow up.

I'm glad I don't get involved in drama like that. I like to hang with the mature half of school. Go me.

Could she not simply say "Mr. Principal, I saw a a group of kids leaving the school. This is what they looked like, so if they aren't here that's your proof."?

Huh? She knew my name, so she told the principal my name. On top of that, there's cameras outside so there was no point in me denying it. She did it in order to get back at me for being friends with this girl she doesn't like. Her words.

You know what pisses me off? When I'm driving to get lunch and stupid high school kids are walking to Wendy's and they treat the street like a parking lot where they can cross anywhere they want even if a car is coming. DON'T WALK OUT IN FRONT OF CARS.

Yeah, 8AM to 11AM. I opted for 3 one-hour after school detentions instead. Gotta love being the student managers aide to be able to opt out of waking up early. Since the complaint was taken directly to the principal, I had to be disciplined, but normally, I don't get in trouble for cutting :). Perfect arrangement.

Meh. Do stuff to her house so then it gets her parents pissed at her and she gets screwed.

Not like the usual egging; eggs with dye injected.

When I was your age, I was studying hard for my SAT instead of wasting time in drama and posting gibberish on the internet.

Dude I'm a freshman and my senior class is just full of dickheads and pot smokers and geeks... if they ain't in one of those categories they are girls who are total whores.

I've got a pretty nice "in" since my cousin (he's like my brother, we are close) graduated last year he told everybody that they better take care of me, and anybody who starts crap with me was getting a whoop. But alot of them like me anyway cuz I'm on varsity both sports I play.

What half is that. Its more like a percentile, and a very small one at that.

I am also a Junior. High school is basically a waste of everyones time, and I'm just waiting to go to college. I just try to get good enough grades where I will have the option to go where I want which will be such a nice thing after high school.

What's your point? When I was an underclassman, the seniors treated me like crap too, when I was a senior, I merely passed it on to the group below me. It's how it works, get used to it.

So your gay friend hooked up with the boyfriend of a senior's younger/older sister? interesting. I imagine that senior was pretty pissed off, esp if they're a homophobe. messed up, but oh well.

As for your problem: You're in high school--get over it. The real world will hit you in approximately 6 years. Come back when you have real problems. :)
