my friend was not impressed with my collection of Foscam security cameras in the house. the main reason is poor resolution of 640x480. i concur!

i've been browsing around. is Logitech the only player in town for high resolution? they offer 720p

but for 1 outdoor + 5 indoor with night vision, the total comes out to be $1400. there's gotta be something cheaper for us regular consumers right??
 
i see the resolutions now. but strangely, they are measured in TVL, not pixels.
the highest is about 700TVL, around 720p. strangely, there are no 1080p equivalent

I would read up on video, bandwidth and what one tries to accomplish with it.
