High latency with cable + router....

Here is a tracert of the connection at my GF's place. She has RR and a WRT54G router. The connection to her router is pretty darn good.

Just seconding what jlazaro is saying. Your first hop latency is terrible and the best way is to remove your home network stuff, try again and call the provider. It really looks like it's a provider problem.
 
RR owns it. Will do. I agree I think its a provide problem because I also have RR in about the same area and have zero issues.
