High end power supplies?

A power supply manufactured by a company that stands behind their product(not some OEM rebadger) and tested one by one that comes with a copy of detailed certificate of testing like this showing that power supply strictly meets the specification.

Are they individually tested and calibrated to meet exact spec and certified for mission critical system?

 
The term 'high end' is highly subjective. Does that mean price or quality?

In all posts I've read pertaining to cpu power supplies, I've never heard a complaint about Antec power supplies - with the exception of the noise of the sleeve-bearing fans Antec uses.

I've read several posts complaining about Enermax PSs regarding low 5V line capacity.

A high quality power supply has a seprate terminal called "feedback" that hooks up to your motherboard with thin wires. It monitors the voltage at motherboard and make sure the voltage at the motherboard is at set value instead of being at set value inside the PSU. When the load increase and voltage decreases, it automatically compensates it. It also has adjustment that allows user to fine tune the output voltage.

When the power supply is overloaded, it triggers an alarm(open collector alarm control) or turns on overload LED.
