What do you guys with the high end models do with them? I just curious, hell I am happy with my M105. I just use it store numbers, addresses and other info.

Do you really need a color screen? memory sticks? wireless communications? Not trying to flame here, just curious if there are any killer aps for them.

Games, Internet, Pics, Movies, MP3s, Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.
Let's hammer all this data into your M105 :)

I was thinking about this the other day.... Some people are dropping over 500 bucks on a PDA when they could buy a somewhat decent laptop for that same amount and have a LOT more... Don't people ever get to the point where they stop and realize that maybe $500+ is a little much for a glorified address book?

I have a Sony Clie s360. Paid ~$100 about a year ago. Came with 16MB and I added a 128MB Mem Stick. Only because I got a good deal on the stick. There are enough apps to fill the 16MB but nothing I need to fill 128.

Anyway, all I ever use it for now is a password file and address book.

I still have a bunch of apps installed but got tired of messing with it and carrying it around with me.

I can't imagine spending $800+ on one of the high end ones. Definitely just a toy.

My next travel-with-me PDA WILL be my cellphone. Or Vice Versa (My PDA will be my cellphone). Just waiting for my contract to expire on my current phone, about 6 more months or so. Should be able to get a good deal on one of the current models (now) then.

I've always lusted after pda's of any sort, but I won a Compaq Ipaq 3850 at a MS seminar two weeks ago and now I don't know what I'll do without it. If this thing gets lost or stolen, I'll have to buy another. This thing is great! I bought an extra 64 mb memory card to use as an mp3 player.

This thing rocks!

I use mine for reading eBooks...and once you go color for that, you can't go back. Black on white is a lot easier to read than black on gray.

Also, in the PalmOS market, sony's high-res screens are another feature that falls under the "once you have it you don't go back" category :)

I don't need a PDA to have a camera, or play MP3s or anything like that. But I'm not the standard user who never adds any extra applications to it either.
