High end Flat Panel TV

After hours of research, i couldn't decide which Flat Panel tv i should buy. Some 42" plasma are $1500 and some are $3999. Is the because the brand name?

Anyway help me choose a high end TV for watching games and movies. 42"+ and budget range $2k - $4k max.

The 42" plasma's going for 1500 are no doubt EDTV, or probably lesser known brand name.

I couldn't tell you. Are you set on getting a flat panel tv? You may want to look into DLP models made by Toshiba, Samsung, etc.

Wow, you better do a LOT more research before buying anything. check out http://www.crutchfield.com to see some in depth specs on DLP's, LCD's(rear projection and flat panel), and also plasma HDTV's.
