Don't have a video processor. Don't have enough high end equipment to justify it, nice unit though.

FileZz normally I am not a spelling nazi but PLEASE it's processor NOT prossessor. In any case it's still a nice unit.

I've read some good things about that Fosgate unit.

I'm using a Lexicon MC-8B, a low/mid end processor (MSRP: $8k). I couldn't justify anything hifi with the amount of time I use my system. I love the way Logic 7 sounds over 5.1 and 6.1 source material, way more than straight DD, DTS processing, or DPLIIx, or THX. I also specifically looked for XLR out, since I wanted to use balanced connections between the pre/pro and my Adcom GFA-7807 7 channel amplifier, as well as Crown K2 subwoofer amplifier. The lower noise floor over standard single ended connections was definitely worth the premium.

I used to own a lexicon CP3 way back when, paid $3k for it, traded it in for a Rotel RSP-1066 ~2 yrs ago, and I think I got like $50 for the trade-in. haha

To me it seems silly to spend an extra $2K for only an inifinitesimal sound quality improvement over a Denon 3805 or comparable H-K. But if you've convinced yourself you can hear a difference, enjoy :)

ok it seems really overkill to me. but its neat to see and play with heh.

My father buys stuff like this. i never unerstood spending 3k on a unit.

nice set up FiLeZz, consider going seperates though?
-cleaner signal processing
-cheaper probably
-if amp breaks, your DSP/switcher is still good and vise versa

It's missing the ability to convert composite and S-video to component. Something I like so I can have only one component cable running from my processor to my monitor and use only one input on my monitor.
