I was going to suggest just that. I mean, they're not going to checkpoint every little country road that leads out of the state. And besides, you've got a ford explorer. Use its "exploring" capiblities and go off road

Speaking of fireworks. My dad is good friends with a guy who did shows professionally for many years (until they had one flowerpot (go off on the ground) and it hurt him pretty badly), and one day while talking to him, the subject turned to the popular fireworks people buy this time of year. He told me a common markup was 5x retail for most items, and it didn't really go any lower then that. So you could be paying wwaaaaaayyyy more then they're worth. Not that it matters, its the spirit of the thing
