This time has come and gone in my area. I held out without buying a thing cause I'm so damn poor, but I could've used a box of thin mints to get me through a day of school :p

I just bought $30 worth from my niece. A CALORICALLY filled assortment. Yet, I feel the need to support this para-military group.

I had half a box of thin mints over the weekend. :) I would have had the whole box, but I shared.

I was at my friend's house drinking, and she bought a box of thin mints. As you know, you get the munchies when drunk, but I remained strong. I only ate 1/3 of the box and 1 hot pocket.

i slam my door on them...

j/k, but I never buy stuff at my front door, no matter who it is. my philosophy is - if you can't afford a store to sell ads, you can't back up your product. now, i know cookies can't be backed up much, but I don't like paying 500% retail for those fundraiser goods.

Yup, I just downed a box of Thin Mints. I held out as long as I could and it took me a full 5 hours this time.

To late. My wallet has been emptied by 6 hardcore sales girls. At least I can hide from the guys at work selling for thier kids. I think 18 boxes is plenty.

OH NO!!!
the thin mint curse.
All of mine are gone already :(
UT sessions killed 3 boxes.
:D

I feel ya'lls pain...I too had succumb to the sweet, sweet taste of those delicious round dark chocolate THIN MINTS...But you know whats even worse is how I bought them. I was at a gas station about 50 miles from my house, in the middle of no where, and I was filling up the Expedition (takes for ever) and I noticed a girl carrying a girl scout cookie box. I clicked the locking feature on the gas pump handle, and then ran up to her and said..I will buy every box of THIN MINTS from you, thinking she only had a box or two. It turns out her mom was filling up her car next to me and in the car she had a whole case of them....So..I had to keep my word...I bought the whole damn lot...12 boxes...right there in the middle of god knows where. After the car was filled up and I loaded my stash of THIN MINTS into the Expedition off I sped to a meeting that was still an hour and half away...By the time I got home that night ...I only had 5 boxes left...yes ... I ate 7 boxes during my 4 hours of driving....So I curse that little girl for being at that middle of no where gas station...But man were they GOOD!!!

what are these cookies you speak of?

the only girl scout cookies sold around here are two kinds:
1. the old skool: one box half vanilla (with filling) and half chocolate (with filling)
2. this chocolate mint kind

the old skool cookies are super addictive.

*kat. <-- likes the vanilla ones

a co-worker's daughter was selling them, so, in the interest of workplace harmony and reciprocation, i bought 1 of each of the peanut butter thingies. seems like there were more cookies when they were 50 cents a box, though.
