Looks like a nice little gadget. Planning on getting the Canon A620 digicam that uses SD memory, this will come in handy for transfering photos to the computer. Thanks OP.

Could someone confirm if it can read 2GB or 4GB cards... thanks.

exactly what I did with the same camera...works great. Stick it in the usb port on the side of my dell 2005 and zoombrower (sofware that comes with the A620) or whatever you want picks it right up.

Great deal on the card reader...tons of 128mb & 256mb cards laying around and Slax will fit on that, so this will make it easy to swap boot setups. $5 shipped...gotta love it!

Good timing with this post, the SD slot on my card read broke a few days ago and I was looking for a cheap replacement.

As a fair warning, they do sell your credit card information to other companies.

I've ordered from them twice, and both times I ended up getting charges from reservationrewards without my consent. When I called reservationrewards, they told me they got my credit card info from LEDShoppe.

You could've warned us before I ordered :(

I'll keep an eye out for suspicious charges on my card.

What is the speed of this reader?
Can it keep up with SanDisk Ultra II (about 10 Megabytes/sec)?
Can it keep up with the Extreme III (about 15 Megabytes/sec)?
